Mark and his team are INCREDIBLE! He took my vision and made it a reality. He was an absolute joy…
Cambridge Bride, Wedding Wire
Mark and his team did a strung light set-up in a field for my wedding. There was no existing structure and they brought everything in. They were quick to respond to e-mail, very professional and easy to work with. On a site visit we described what we wanted which turned out to be quite a bit more difficult than the set-up in the picture we had been baselining. Day of the result was exactly what we asked for. Could not have been better. After watching them put construct the lighting for 12 or 13 hours the day before… worth every penny. This was one of the best vendors I worked with for my wedding.
Ben, Married At Foxfire
I could not be more pleased with how the lighting & decor turned out. Everything was absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much for helping make our day so special!
Caroline, Married at Cohee Barn

The Process

Say Hello to Mark!

What Happens When You Meet With a Lighting Designer?

You’ve just met your wedding caterers and you’re happy with your menu. Now you are shaking hands and being introduced to a nice man named Mark R. Peach who’s here for your consultation meeting for your special event lighting design.

 Share, Imagine & Inspire

Time to share those great ideas you found on Pinterest and add a few of your own!

During your consultation, you’ll share the important details like the season, date, time & location of your event. Mark will ask you a few more questions about the venue, the lighting’s purpose (dramatic, functional or both) and the setting.  This is a great time to share Pinterest boards, talk about ambiance and mood, colors and themes. If there are activities planned that require special consideration, be sure to mention those as well.  Think about any features in the room you might like to highlight or camouflage.  Want custom gobos, fetes, chandeliers, or lanterns? Mark’s up for the challenge. (Take a look at some of the Design Options for more ideas.)  Mark will cover all of these questions and more, discuss your budget, and thank you for the opportunity to assist you in creating your ideal event.

Research, Design & Propose

This is where it gets technical.

Your lighting designer will then research the power availability and the dimensions within the venue. He’ll draft a plot, or map, of the design, taking into consideration structural capabilities, electrical availability, security, transportation, labor, equipment availability, and aesthetics to come up with a proposal for your event.

Discuss, Tweak & Approve

Putting it all together.

Arrangements will be made to meet or speak again to discuss what he’s drawn up and any changes and concerns you have. Once the design and budget are agreed upon, Mark will draft a contract that reflects these for you to sign.

Relax & Enjoy!

Rest easy knowing that you’re in good hands.

Mark prides himself in attention to detail and is very willing to work with your budgetary constraints to provide you with the look and lighting you need to make your special event memorable.  Now, just relax and enjoy your special day!
